Device Monitoring

The reason businesses embrace mobile Device Management solutions in the first place is so that they are able to “keep an eye” on the activities in their businesses without having to physically be there. This process of remote device monitoring is explained in the steps below.

  1. Select Mobile Device Manager > select Device ID form the list of devices

2. Clicking on the device ID displays details of the device

The admin is able to see details of the user that has been assigned to the device and other details regarding if the device is within its geofence, the lat device location and the last location check-in time. This information is retrieved and displayed in realtime.

2 (b). View the exact location of the user on a map.

2 (c). Select any of the tabs to view details of the user’s activity

The Registration report section displays the work done by the agent for the period. The details here is also fetched in realtime. As shown in Fig.3 below, the agent has not captured any subscriber so there is no data here.

3. View network

The business is able to see the network used by the agent as well as the data usage by apps. So from here, it is easy to see at first glance the apps that consume the most amount of data.

4. View applications installed on the device

7. View the list of policies that have been enabled for the device.
