The blacklist feature enables the IT admin to be in control of how the devices within their ecosystem are used. Whether it is the global blacklist or blacklisting an app for a single device or group of devices, the SmartMDM platform offers you the flexibility to carry out this action.

Global App Blacklist

The Global application blacklist feature enables you to blacklist an application for all the devices within your ecosystem at once. To perform this action, follow the steps below;

  1. Navigate to the Manage Applications module select the actions option for the app to be globally blacklisted (see screenshot below)

2. The status of apps that have been blacklisted globally will be updated to “blacklisted” (see screenshot) and the apps will be become inaccessible to all users within your ecosystem

3. Applications that have been globally blacklisted will be displayed on the “Blacklisted apps” tab. (see screenshot below)
